Project Engineer Mining
Tasks: Support and consulting of sales department as well as after-sales service in:
- Project development
o Collection and definition of application and product requirements
o Machine specification
a. Applications engineering (mine planning)
b. Rock and cuttability assessment
c. Performance estimation
d. Evaluation of operating costs
e. Machine recommendation
f. Options recommendation
- After Sales
o Support resp. realization of applications engineering for new machinery
a. Assembling
b. Commissioning
c. Trials
d. Spare parts/Wear parts
e. Service contracts
o Collections and analysis of application datas
o Compilation of job reports
o Support of after-sales service in respect to warranty affairs
o Competition
a. Supervision
b. Analysis
c. Compile arguments
For a successful applicant the following job specification is recommended in order to fulfil the above-mentioned tasks:
- English, fluent in spoken and written
- Civil engineer or mining engineer studies or a good knowledge of mineralogy, mine planning, mining machinery
- Initial experience in project planning and execution
