采购工程师

Key responsibilities:

• Communication with suppliers for sourcing issues.
• Identify potential suppliers for products required and prepare potential supplier profile to determine suitability.
• Manage supplier audit function and make recommendations on supplier selection.
• Develop program to continually monitor supplier performance, identify required improvements and implement.
• Identify manufacturing and system processes improvements required. Take a hand on approach with suppliers to make identified improvements and to develop capability to consistently manufacture product to requirements.
• Take charge of purchasing and logistic coordination between us and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Two years or above experience in Supply Chain Management field from manufacturing industry, at best in multi-national company and most likely within Purchasing but experience from manufacturing or design is also relevant.
• Project management, managing people and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, process capability and product quality are more important than typical purchasing skills;
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Must have proficient English speaking and writing skills.
• Good communicator, persistent though diplomatic
• Ability to initiate and drive project with only limited guidance
• Good team player
• Very carefully for work
